3/22/06 Well, Monday of this week was quite a scare! I got my first ambulance ride (with lights and sirens, Alexander noted), my first CAT scan, my first EKG, and so on and so on... Luckily it was just a severe migraine, and I came home on Wednesday. This is me and Dirk enjoying the comforts of the brand new section of Potomac Hospital. It's only been open since last Saturday so I was the first patient in that room! Thanks to all of my friends and family for the flowers, e-mails, phone calls, visits and especially prayers! Love to ALL!
3/10/06 Congratulations to Brianna for placing 3rd in the PWC Spelling Bee! She was doing great until given the word "commissary." Way too many m's and s's (she missed an s). Her disappointment was shortlived as she and her school band earned all 1's (the highest score) at the District Band Festival on Saturday.

I took this picture with my new cell phone while visiting HPU with Britt and Erin. You can see behind the girls some of the construction that is taking place on the campus. The girls are sitting on one of the giant chairs placed in a grassy area on the campus. Each of the chairs is painted in a different theme. The one they chose is pink with sparklies.
2/25/06 I know this is a boring picture, but I couldn't take a picture of Alexander singing at the Embassy of Finland because it was a private party hosted by the ambassador and for some reason, I wasn't invited... Alexander had a great time though, and he received a goodie bag with Finnish cheese and crackers!
