12/30/07 We celebrated Erin's birthday a couple of days late, but look at what Dirk found while cleaning out the attic! He had this picture of Erin blown up years and years ago so we got it framed for her! Isn't she just too cute, then and now!!

Merry Christmas 2007!

 

 

 

We started the day later than years past (8:00 am - much better than the 5, 6 or 7:00 am of years past), and we finished opening everything around 2:45! We did take a couple of much needed breaks for breakfast and lunch. The kids received all kinds of fun things from Santa, Mrs. Claus and all of the reindeer.

Brianna's Winter Band Concert!

 

12/13/07 Brianna made 1st chair in the Symphonic Band this year. Here she is performing at their winter concert. She played the flute and the piccolo.

Early Merry Christmas Barkley!

 

12/16/07 Barkley's mother being the wimp that she is gave Barkley an early Christmas present! He's really enjoying it!

 

 

Congratulations Alexander!

 

12/15/07 Well, it is all becoming a reality. I'll be losing another baby from the nest next August! Alexander received his acceptance letter from High Point University today. So, if he chooses, he can go to school with Britt next year!

Christmas Revels

 

12/14/07 We enjoyed a performance of The Christmas Revels at the Lisner in DC, and we especially enjoyed being able to see Emilie in the performance and after the show!
