Happy 50th Birthday!

 

4/25/08 Dirk celebrates his 50th birthday today, and we had a little party for him on Friday night! A birthday that special requires 2 birthday cakes!

 

Indian Dance

 

Brianna and her friends Pooja, Naziha and Navjot are performing an Indian dance at International Night at their school next weekend. They gave us our own special performance since we won't be able to attend. It was great! They choreagraphed the whole thing, and Navjot's aunt had their outfits made in India and mailed them!

Team Apollo - 6th in the World

 

4/18/08 Yes, these boys make up Team Apollo. An independent robotics team that placed 6th in the World Robotics Championship in Atlanta at the Georgia Dome. Amazing...

 

 

 

Georgia Aquarium

 

4/18/08 After the competition was over, we had some time to visit the Georgia Aquarium. Quite impressive!

 

 

 

ZTA Golf Tournament

4/12/08 Britt's sorority held a golf tournament fundraiser for breast cancer prevention and awareness. We bought a hole in memory of Kathleen, and Britt's dad bought a hole in memory of his mother. Britt's dad, Erin, and Erin's friend Tyler were able to make the trip to HPU and play in the tournament. They all had a good time, and the rain held off, but Erin was really surprised to find out how long it actually takes to play golf! She especially enjoyed driving the golf cart!
