Reese & Me (& a bunch of other people)

 

Reese Witherspoon is the honorary chair of the Avon Foundation, and the top fundraisers ($10,000+) had a photo taken with Reese after the Closing Ceremony. I was very excited!

Alexander's Senior Prom

 

 

 

 

4/26/08 Alexander and Livvy look fabulous for their senior prom! The end of their high school year is coming to a close rather quickly!

Mother's Day Eve

 

 

 

 

The kids surprised me on Saturday with an outing at Occoquan Regional Park. They were showing Ratatouille on the lawn. The rain paused enough to allow time to see the movie, but it was FREEZING! We had such a great time though, and Barkley enjoyed his first movie out!

 

 

 

 

Barkley's Annual Physical

 

Barkley went for his annual physical yesterday so he got a dingo as a treat. Poor thing had to get 2 vaccinations, give blood and have his temperature taken (not orally). Good news is that he is perfectly healthy although 1 lb. overweight.

Bird in the House

 

A bird flew in the house the other day. Here it is on the chain that holds our dining room light. I have a wreath on the front door that a bird couple is using as their home and to have babies. They had 3 of them. We're trying not to use the front door because when the door is open, the door is in the house, and when the door is in the house, and the bird gets startled, well... it ends up flying into the house. Never a dull moment around here!

Route Clean Up Crew

 

Here is Dirk with the rest of the Route Clean Up Crew Team. They drove 2 trucks through the walk route picking up all of the trash at each rest stop after the walkers had gone through and made a mess! Couldn't do it without them!
