Brianna being named one of the top ten finalists. She was then named 3rd runner up! Very exciting. Received a medal that she gets to wear at graduation, a $100 scholarship and an invite to the national leadership conference being held in St. Louis in October.

7/3/09 Yes, it is 2 weeks before the kids' birthdays but we celebrated early since the week of their birthdays we are all running in different directions. Cannot believe Alexander will be 19 and Brianna will be 18!!! [And yes, the kids made 3 1/2 pounds of guacamole!]

5/10/09 For Mother's Day the kids gave me the pasta maker attachment for my kitchen aid mixer. Britt taught us how to make pasta from scratch. It was fun and yummy!

 

 

 

Brianna at the Naval Academy

Brianna spent a week at the Naval Academy at their summer seminar for rising seniors. She loved it and is definitely applying. We'll be busy this summer collecting recommendation letters!!
